I approached Martin for making schematics for my poster when I saw his post on the ista intranet, offering to make free illustrations. Even though he had already been approached by others, he very kindly agreed to make schematics for my poster, for which we had a tight timeline. He was very enthusiastic to take up the challenge and was very open to receiving feedback and adapting the illustrations accordingly, in a timely manner. He was very prompt with communication and eventual completion of the illustrations, which was very appreciable and professional, given that it was done pro bono.
